Why Give to Michigan Tech?
With a clearly articulated vision as the driving factor, the University's future as a world-class institution depends on its ability to obtain the necessary private resources to address these forces as a positive tool for Michigan Tech's future.
Private gifts and donations, regardless of size or designation, are a necessary form of support needed to keep the University on the cutting edge. State appropriations given to Michigan Tech have decreased yearly to just 27% of the University's budget, putting increased emphasis on private contribution. Last year 12,000 donors gave $12.8 million to Michigan Tech to help support our University. You have several options available to join these donors in making an impact on Michigan Tech.
